I found a local lab that I like- so very exciting! I still plan to use Richard Photo Lab for some things- probably weddings- because they are seriously top notch, but for personal work and portrait sessions, I am so happy that I can just drop my film off and get it the same day or next morning. They did a lovely job on the scans, no?

I am so thankful for photography right now- keeping me grounded in a sea of chaos. (Chaos is quite an odd word…)

My grandmother is turning 86 on Friday. She is awesome, and played such a significant role in my upbringing. I am so thankful for my relationship with her. Seth and I will be spending a few days with her and my parents this weekend to celebrate.

I am determined to fit some beach time into our weekend while we’re there. I like the beaches in my home town better than the ones down here. I just want to soak up the sun and play in the sand right now. I have a beach photo session this Thursday as well- working at the beach is great, too ;)
